Little Countdown iOS app adds support for Siri Shortcuts
With latest update to iOS app, Little Countdown users can now hear their current task by asking Siri.
Oakland, CA – A new update to the Little Countdown app for iOS helps users save time by not having to open the app to check their current task. With a simple voice command such as, “Hey Siri, get my current task,” users will hear the task that they’ve scheduled to be working on at that time. Users can also add shortcuts for getting the current Countdown or for creating new Countdowns. Useful shortcuts will be suggested in Spotlight searches.
This latest release of Little Countdown (v1.1.0) includes integration with Siri Shortcuts to perform common useful actions such as:
- Getting the current task
- Getting the current Countdown
- Creating a new Countdown
“This latest update is great for the mornings when you’re rushing around the house and trying to make sure you’ve handled everything you need for the day,” says Ivan Tse, creator of Little Countdown. “When drinking that morning coffee or taking a shower, it’s not always easy to have the phone in hand. It’s so much faster and easier to run a Siri Shortcut to just ask for your current task with your voice. Little Countdown is designed to help streamline your tasks and minimize extra things in your daily life, and this update does exactly that.”
Siri Shortcuts and custom commands for Little Countdown can be activated from the Siri & Search menu in the Settings app for iPhone or iPad.
Little Countdown is currently available on the iOS App Store for $1.99.
